HUNGARIAN OPEN (Esztergom 2010)

And finally the Hungarian Open 2010. This competition was the most succesfull competition this year for me. Veni had 4 clean runs and was always placed on the winners podium:

SATURDAY:

agility II.: 1. place; 

jumping II.: 3. place

SUNDAY:

jumping I.: 1.place;

jumping II.: 2. place

Buffy had a couple of nice runs, but unfortunatelly one bar down (2. time in saturday’s jumping I., 7. time in saturdays jumping II.).

BORDER COLLIE CLASSIC (Zalaegerszeg 2010)

The Border Collie Classic is one of my favoure competitions. You can see a lot of  diferent border collies and the competition is really high.

I got into the finals with Veni (3. place jumping) and Buffy (9. place agility) but had some bad luck with both of them in the finals.You can see the results here.

EUROPEAN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP (Liberec 2010)

I qualified with Veni and Buffy on the EO. And I was expecting a nice competition. But all that changed a day before we left for EO. I went to agility practice and sprained my ancle really badly. But I was determinated to go anyway (in spite of the fact that I couldn’t even stand on one leg). And it all got worse because of the wheather conditions. So it was not the best competition for me, but we had some fun anyways. You can see the results here.

… and so did my story with Didi. I had some problems with time and did not train as much as I wanted (and needed). So Katja and I agrees that she trains and competes with here again. But we ended our competing with the best way possible – we made the last exam for A2 and won our last competition.

Almost every week there is an agility competition in Slovenia. So we are pretty busy with competing. I have no luck with Veni this year. Still problems with A-frame. But we had some nice runs in between anyways.

Buffy and I have some problems with slalom. But we had some really great and fast jumpings. Sometimes she is even faster than Veni.

Didi on the other hand made me happy with a really nice run and her second exam in A1 (one year after she made her first one). One more left.   Hopefully I wont need to wait for a year for her last one.

Veni and I went on frisbee 4 fun competition in Novo mesto. We did great. Veni won Minidistance with a perfect score (22,5) and Medley Relay (together with Petra Hladnik and Buffy&Gia). She came in sedond in Time trial with a score 18.37 seconds. I can’t wait for a 2. CANIDAE dogfrisbee international competition in Maribor (6.6.2010). We plan to do freestyle too (if I manage to put together a freestyle rutine).

AC is visiting two puppy schools.   I try to combine puppy school of Silvia Trkman and Polona Bonač, since both of them have one hour on a day that I can’t come.  AC is a great student. She loves to learn new things. Unfortunatelly she has a lazy owner. I rather play with her than to do school work.

Veni accepted the fact that AC is here to stay and since then they have become best friends. It’s really nice to watch them play together.
